What's covered
For 12 months from the delivery date we cover manufacturing defects in the drone, controller and battery — motors that fail without impact, controllers that won't pair, batteries that won't hold charge.
What's not covered
- Crash damage, water damage and lost drones
- Normal wear on propellers
- Damage from unauthorized repairs or modifications
Filing a claim
Email support@skyhawk4k.com with your order number, a description of the fault and a short video or photo. Most claims are resolved with replacement parts shipped free within a few business days.
Warranty and guarantee are two different things
- The 90-day money-back guarantee covers changing your mind. No fault required.
- The 12-month warranty covers manufacturing defects — something that was wrong with the product rather than something that happened to it.
- Optional accident protection ($19) covers crash damage for two years, which neither of the above includes.
Examples of what is covered
- A motor that fails in normal flight without impact.
- A gimbal that arrives misaligned or fails without a crash.
- A controller that will not bind despite correct setup and a good battery.
- A battery that will not hold a charge within the warranty period.
- A camera that does not record or transmit as designed.
Examples of what is not covered
- Crash damage, water damage or a fly-away.
- Propellers and other normal wear parts.
- Damage from unapproved chargers, modifications or third-party parts.
- Cosmetic scuffs that do not affect flight.
- Units bought from a third-party seller rather than this site.
Filing a claim: what to have ready
- Your order number from the confirmation email.
- A short description of what the drone does and when it started.
- Photos, and a short video if the fault is visible in operation.
- What you have already tried — recalibration, a different battery, re-binding.

How long is the warranty?
12 months from delivery, covering manufacturing defects in the drone, controller and battery.
Does the warranty cover crashes?
No. Crash damage is not a manufacturing defect. Optional accident protection at $19 covers crash replacement for two years if you want that cover.
Is the battery covered?
Yes, against defects such as failing to hold a charge within the warranty period. Gradual capacity loss from normal use and age is not a defect.
Are propellers covered?
No, propellers are wear parts. A spare set is included in the box and a replacement kit is available as a $14 add-on.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Email support@skyhawk4k.com with your order number, a description of the fault, photos or a short video, and what you have already tried. Most claims are assessed within one to two business days.
What if I bought from another seller?
Our warranty covers orders placed on skyhawk4k.com. Purchases from third-party sellers are covered by that seller's own terms.
